Arnold Wheelchair Ramp

James and Daisy Arnold are members of First Baptist Church Vass, NC.

They are both retired. James suffers from Prostrate and Bone Cancer, and a recent hospitalization left him immobile. Daisy mentioned that she would not be able to get James in and out of the house and they greatly needed a wheelchair ramp.

Members of the Sandhills Blast and Cast Ministries heard this need and determined that they could build the wheelchair ramp. With a materials list and design plan in hand, the volunteers went to work.

Members of Sandhills Blast and Cast Ministries teamed up with First Baptist Church of Vass to build the ramp on December 28, 2019. Those who assisted include Wayne Hardy, James Dunn, Danny Messer, Jacob Rogers, and Jerry Holder.

The family is grateful to all who made it possible for them to have the wheelchair ramp for James.
