The Annual Blast & Cast Event provides a fun and safe environment for you and your family. This FREE event includes outdoor sportsman activities and competitions for all ages- come learn and enjoy a variety of sportsman activities. The day also offers FREE BBQ pork and Chicken plates for all, hands on events, tractor rides, a car show, music, motivational speakers and GREAT prizes.

All sportsman activities are supervised and operated by safety personnel. Test your skills or learn a new one! All activities are included in the event registration. The first round of each activity is free. Replays are additional for Shotgun Bowling, Skeet Shooting, and BB Gun Range.

There is no extra charge to participate in the Casting competition.
There is an extra charge to participate in the Skeet shooting competition.

The Blast & Cast Event is held at Thurlows Lake on Thurlow Lake Rd, Carthage, NC

  9am – 10am On-site registration
  9:30am Opening Ceremony

Winners “if not present” will be notified and if prizes are not claimed in two weeks will be held and used as prizes for the next years event.
